30-year fixed-rate mortgage falls to 3.78%, Freddie Mac says

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) — The 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.78% for the week ending March 19, down from 3.86%, according to mortgage buyer Freddie Mac. The 15-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 3.06%, down from 3.1%, and the 5-year Treasury-indexed hybrid adjustable-rate mortgage averaged 2.97%, down from 3.01%. The 1-year Treasury-indexed ARM stayed at 2.46%.
