US stock futures climbed in a shortened Monday trading session, as oil prices plunged sharply, nipped some losses, and sold into Europe’s open.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures closed at 16,005, up 0.6%. Nasdaq 100 futures ended at 4,163, up 0.5%. S&P 500 futures settled at 1,884.50, up 0.5%.
Bond and stock markets in the United States are shut Monday to commemorate the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.
