Donald Trump has two words for the executives of tech titans: call me.
The US president-elect met with some executives of the technology sector in New York on Wednesday, saying the incoming administration has no formal chain of command. He assured them they will make it much easier for tech companies to do business throughout borders.
During the summit between Trump and tech leaders, which took place in a conference room on the 25th floor of Trump Tower, he pledged to meet them as often as each quarter, as well as contend with issues relative to border problems and prohibitions.
Vice President-elect Mike Pence and Trump’s three adult children, Donald Jr., Eric, and Ivanka, joined the convention. Some other attendees include Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page, Facebook Chief Operating Officer Sheryl Sandberg, IBM chief Ginni Rometty, and Microsoft boss Satya Nadella.
Twitter’s Jack Dorsey was not included in the meeting, as a transition spokesperson said the social networking service was too small.
